Now in our second century providing legal services in Dublin, Sheil Solicitors is a firm proud of its reputation both locally and internationally. As both a founder member and the exclusive Lexlink representative in Ireland we have for 20 years provided our services to clients of fellow Lexlink members.

The practice has developed to reflect changes in the requirements of our clients and in consequence we have an international client base due to our reputation for reliability and sound commercial advice coupled with the provision of consistent and proficient expertise.

We advise both commercial and private clients through the appreciation and application of appropriate legal principles and are served by long standing members of staff who take pride in strengthening the reliance our clients place in us.

In March 2008, after over 100 years of practice by the Law Courts, we relocated to purpose built offices at 34 Lad Lane, Dublin 2.

Tony succeeded his late father as Senior Partner. He serves on the Executive of Lexlink and holds the interests of his international clients as one of his priorities. He is well known and respected in the Dublin courts where he is at home whether representing private or commercial clients.

Presently the Managing Partner of Sheil Solicitors, Tony's experience encompasses mediation at all levels, commercial and civil litigation, judicial review, planning and building law. His considerable and extensive experience extends to representing financial institutions, insurance companies, high street retailers and international haulage enterprises. Tony has a specialised and particular interest in Mediation.

Margaret has been a partner with Sheil Solicitors for twenty years. She relishes a challenge and the satisfaction it gives her to achieve practical solutions for her clients. She turns her hand to a wide range of problems for her clients who include for example, the expanding international clientele from Lexlink who have invested commercially in Ireland. Margaret is the Editor of the Irish Conveyancing Precedents published by Bloomsbury Professional and she is also a founding Committee member of the Solicitors for the Elderly in Ireland and The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
